The South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association, in partnership with CNT, launched the Green TIME (Transit, Intermodal, Manufacturing, Environment) Zone strategy to redevelop the southern suburbs, capitalizing on the region’s rich network of freight and passenger rail lines and abundant vacant land to divert investment away from less sustainable greenfield developments in exurban locations.
